some people have a problem with my blog

heres the main email and commentary

some anonymous jackass has to put their 2 cents in, if you want to leave a comment then man up and put your name down.

team dicky doesnt seem to get my point.

let me say it again.

there is a hole in the category system, it needs to be fixed.

i dont care if i race granny gear or not, just make the rules for everyone and dont single me out.
make an example of one guy and let the rest slide cuz they are mid pack riders. (like me)

understand

i hope so, its not hard.

big mule packer tolbert stepped in for team kuhl/scott.

maybe someone will complain that hes a 1 speeder and has an advantage or some lame excuse to ban him.

I hope you got my email. My only purpose in posting a link to your blog on the SORBA forum was that I felt it was important that people get the point of view of a rider that is actually affected by GG's class system. I agree that it seems a bit arbitrary. It also sounded as if you got a little "something special" in your version of the mass email.
Sorry if that is not how it came across.
I do understand your point.

Dicky

BTW: I have no problem with your blog. Maybe we don't see eye to eye on things like single speeds, fixed gears, and whatnot, but that doesn't mean I don't think your skilled, entertaining, and producing something worth viewing.
Thanks,
Dicky

Kudos on the shopping cart ride video.

MTB is gayer than road racing, who knew?

Wahhhh, he's faster than me, it's not fair, my licenses says "Expert", but when I go to a race I get my ass kicked, etc. etc. etc. What a bunch of whiners.

MTB racing already gives everyone their own category, its a wonder anyone ever "loses.

while i do not agree with all the rules, there are rules, the fact that they are only partially enforced is a big problem. What defines expert? A Usa Cycling license? Well Granny gear does not require a license, what about people who race pro in the Icup, but expert in National races, what are they?

DRRNA, maybe we should get Ed to drop races with pavement in them from the point series.

I like to drop myself from bike races, I don't need Ed to do it for me. He already eliminated my favorite race in Tooele which was 50% pavement.

In all seriousness, the ICUP policy for the pros makes perfect sense. A number of those "pros" are above the local Expert bar, but are right in there at the expert level in national races.

I think that's all Fox is trying to say. Seems like he's catching more than the normal amount of flak lately.

Dont take Fox too seriously when it comes to singlespeeders and fixies, his bark is worse than his bite.
