not feelin so snappy

i dont think i like this short day light thing. i like to ride later in the day and now thats not working. its cold and the sun is gone. i lost my power. i got my ass kicked last night. sager was drilling it on the flats and i didnt see who won, i went home early with my hopes dashed in the cow pits.
i wonder if ali finished this time. i didnt, so all i can say is i felt bad, spent 3 days with no riding i dont know but thats it. i rode about 2 hrs today, it was sunny but cold. it will get colder. im moving a bunch of bike parts across the street and i dont have much time for anything, shipping riding, sleeping, eating. traveling and racing, recovering takes a lot of time. then i got no time to watch mtv.

it wouldnt matter anyway. comcast sucks the big one and has not worked for 3 days. they dont know why or when it will be fixed. suck it!!!!!

im doing 3 hrs a day for the next 3 days then see if that makes me hammer on sunday.

church of the big ring at wheeler farm.
bring some bread for the ducks.

sager explains to me how to jump this run up. he then promptly dropped me. thanks jay.

erica jones aka climb-um

jones was throwin up the other night. too bad i missed out. i wonder if kid rock felt good sunday after the throw down

yesterday was a blur

today i can watch in my mind all the crazy hectic things that happened in a 24 hr time frame.
i went to bz's house last night. he was doin shots of somethin with climb-um and AROCK. bobby had some nice hoots and let me cop a feel.

yaaa get wasted its time to party. good costumes, kid rock was in the house. jones with a curly wig. i heard the mop was racing yesterday at RMR. i wasnt around to see it. too bad, but maybe he will come to wheeler next sat.

im racing tonight under the lights in farmington. i owe ali g and ATRAIN an ass whoopin.

maybe kday will show up. also kday has all the sweet pics from last night so check it out. i was tired and had to bail early.

drive to denver 8 hrs plane ride back 1 hr yaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i was selling parts to dumb people all day. questions like "you sellin those stems"

"is this for sale", well of course its not, its here for you to look at, and i hauled it here just for you to look at it.

"how much is this" um ok its labeled. so look at that tag hanging in your hand.

or when they hear the high price they scoff, drop it and run away. sold some junk, bought more junk and now i can sell it to the retards on the www.

some one stole my jacket with spencers ID and my car key. if i would have caught that dilhole i would have strung him up by his balls.

i got a bag, timbuk2 messenger bag, its pink and says Tmobile on it. i bought it used for 20 bucks. i put some parts in it and something jabbed me. like a needle and i was freaking out i thought a needle stabbed me and i had aids.

i dumped it out and my hand was swollen and hurting. i wasp came out and i smashed the bastard.

ya entertaining. i got on the jet plane and its better than driving all night. i left up to lip ring.
while on the plane i wrote the best letter ever. its quality work i can only do while concentrating at the task at hand. 1 hr of r&r while enjoying the flite. it was clear skies and no bumps.
yaaaaaaa

now time to shred the cx tomorrow night.

ATRAIN claims score board but im kickin his ass at the next race so come watch the train wreck.

greggy G, aka bucky is the youngest of the gibson brothers, racer and chucky.

im going to denver at 6am tomorrow. i wont be at the race, but ali G is having one sunday night at 7pm under the lights so i might do that.

i wonder if the mop will come to wheeler next week and take some stealth photos

i found floyd over by fred meyer. ya he is the real thing.

i stole this from t-bird

its a great pic of the hoes down in zion. ho-made pies. i wonder if they have cherry pie? i tell all my hoes i have hoes in different area codes, so this hoe is down in my 435 code. dont be hatin, be appreciatin.

so here is a debate, ho or hoe. julie says this is a hoe, well i call it a dirty hoe.
but here is the real ho

yesterday i was riding and i came up on this guy.

its not a close up very good, i should have gotten in from the front. i was in stealth mode. this guy as pushing a snow blower in the bike lane in rose park with the bike on top.

here he is takin a breather.

oh ya and whats the website, the kitlers? hitler cat look a likes. kitlers.com or some shit
i found this one over in south jordan.

tree farm destroys the east coast cross races, undefeated. bart laps me and tree farm puts 5 mins on bg in an hour. at least the tree farm can get in the top 20 in a world cup. while sven puts 5 to 8 mins on him.

go figure.

ya this is a long post, im feeling spry.

one of those mondays

i say mondays are better than fridays. today im wondering why its not sounding that good. so many idiots driving around getting im my way. im goin to start crackin skulls.

how can so many god damn idiots live in a town and drive like 16 yr olds. its not hard to figure out how to turn or merge or step on it.

im at my limit and my arm hurts.

i do have my legs and im not in a wheel chair. i can ride all day if i want. its nice out , its over 60 degrees.

so i went out for about an hour, im tired and lethargic. yesterday was nice also. i rode about 1/2 hr. im sore, my arm hurts, my calf muscles are jacked. im tired and hungry.

bitch and moan is what i should label this story.

so if you see me around tell me to get off the soap box cuz my friend told me today my life doesnt really suck and i shouldnt be complaining about morons.

im goin to denver friday so i wont be racing, i want to race but i got to get some goods at the veloswap.

i'll be back for bachelor blakes halloween party sat. night. its goin to be a rager. if you want to go you have to email bz here. or if you already know him just show up.

hes a high roller livin up above eagle ridge in btown with climb-um and susy at the north east training compound.

i feel like a spaz

at rmr cx today it wasnt pretty. that mud hill steep run up should have been ridable. i look like a beginner trying to find my pedals and falling on my ass in ankle deep slime. i bet that was entertaining.

1st lap crashing into spanring and sager something stabbed my arm and i couldnt feel it for an hour. now its all seized up and im hurtin.

i should take a pic but its grossing me out. maybe not the cut isnt so bad its the bruised muscle deep pectoral and bicep, its killing me.

the new bike was ok, i cant complain other than the wreck.
i got 7th and im not ok with that since bart lapped me. that is depressing.
im going to go to sleep now.

i dont have any pics and im tired so too bad for all of you.
besides its better to watch the race live so next time come out and yell at us. i wont be in town next week so you have to wait until november. aaron jordin did the trip the barrier head first into the 2nd barrier and ripped his ear off like mike tyson. pretty ugly, but kept on truckin. thats impressive.

results are here, you can see all the guys who smoked me.

cyclo cross 17 pounds of fury

i finished biking off today, got the thing dialed. its not even tricked out yet and its 17 lbs. that stock fork is heavy. get me a titanium one and save a pound right there.

damn im smooth.

now just get the power going for tomorrow, hoping for a top 5 or beating ALI--G, and i will be happy. also hoping the bike holds together. nothin like a virgin ride on some new wheels. i have to learn how to jump this thing and steer it like the scalpel.

a few hot laps and it should be fine.

i rode 2.5 hrs yesterday, some at night. i was drafting hummers and SUV's down in sandy, my legs are tired. i need a nap. ive been up since 5am.

got to get this act together for the smack down.

if you like beavis check this out here and here

hammering at 8am

check out my new cd

well maybe 830 am. im getting used to the late sunrise and this weekend is the time change so thats good and bad. i like riding at night but its colder and its really cold in the AM. i was rippin 32mph down 7th east.

2 a days, 1 hr AM. lunch or 5pm hammer fest in traffic. dodging and drafting busses down state.

i've been gettin a few hours a day of road riding and im dialing in my new cross bike. i will be rippin it at rmr saturday so i hope it holds together. i have not tested it yet. it will be good to see how it feels at the race, flat, fast and i will have to unleash the watts and crush the weak.

i should have posted this yesterday

COSMIC TRIGGER EVENT on 17th of OCTOBER, 2006

We apologise for the lateness of this news. A few hurdles recently had to >be overcome.>>A cosmic trigger event is> occuring on the 17th of October 2006. This is the beginning, one of many >trigger events to come between now and 2013. An ultraviolet (UV) pulse beam >radiating from higher dimensions in universe-2 will cross paths with the >Earth on this day. Earth will remain approximately within this UV beam for >17 hours of your time.>>This beam resonates with the heart chakra, it is radiant flourescent in >nature, blue/magenta in colour. Although it resonates in this frequency >band, it is above the colour frequency spectrum of your universe-1 which >you, Earth articulate in. However due to the nature of your soul and soul >groups operating from Universe-2 frequency bands it will have an effect.>The effect is every thought and emotion will be amplified intensley one >million-fold. Yes, we will repeat, all will be amplified one millions time >and more. Every thought, every emotion, every intent, every will, no matter >if it is good, bad, ill, positive, negative, will be amplified one> million times in strength.>>What does this mean? Since all matter manifest is due to your thoughts, >i.e. what you focus on, this beam will accelerate these thoughts and >solidify them at an accelerated rate making them manifest a million times >faster than they normally would. For those that do not comprehend. Your >thoughts, what you focus on create your reality.>>This UV beam thus can be a dangerous tool. For if you are focused on >thoughts which are negative to your liking they will manifest into your >reality almost instantly. Then again this UV beam can be a gift if you >choose it to be.>>Mission-1017 requires approximately one million people to focus on >positive, benign, good willed thoughts for themselves and the Earth and >Humanity on this day. Your thoughts can be of any nature of your choosing, >but remember whatever you focus on will be made manifest in a relatively >faster than anticipated time frame. To some the occurrences may almost be >bordering on> the miracle.>>All we ask is positive thoughts of love, prosperity, healing, wealth, >kindness, gratitiude be focused on. This UV beam comes into full affect for >17hrs on the 17th of October 2006. No matter what time zone you are in the >hours are approximately 10:17am on the 17th of October to 1:17am on the >18th October. The peak time will be 17:10 (5:10pm) on the 17th October.>>You do need to be in a meditative state through out this time, though would >be beneficial. The main key time no matter what time zone you are in will >be the peak time of 17:10 (5:10 pm). Perhaps at this time if you can find a >peaceful spot or location to focus. The optimum is out in the vicinity of >grounded nature, likened to that of a large tree or next to the ocean >waves.>>Focus on whatever it is you desire. What is required for the benefit of all >Earth and Humanity is positive thoughts of loving nature. We call this UV >beam trigger event, "818" gateway.>>Please forward this> message to as many people as you know who will use this cosmic trigger >event to focus positive, good willed thoughts. We require approximately >1-million people across globe to actively participate in this event. Please >use whatever communication mediums you have at your disposal. Reach out to >as many people as possible. We require 1-million plus people at the least >to trigger a shift for humanity from separation and fragmentation to one of >unification and oneness.>>This is your opportunity to take back what is rightfully yours i.e. Peace >and Prosperity for all Earth and Mankind. This is a gift, a life line from >your universe so to speak, an answer to your prayers. What you do with it >and whether or not you choose to participate is your choice.>>Details to the Mission-1017 site and forum and how to stay updated are >below.>Mission1017>Raphiem/Blue>As a tool use this image below to help you focus.>http://mission1017.googlepages.com/m1017.jpg/m1017-full.jpg

its all mirrors

next time you hear someone ripping on someone else or on anything else think about this.
they are criticizing themselves.

everyone you know or see around your life is there because of you.

its not an accident you met up with some jackass on the freeway and got in a fight, or the girl who hates you for calling all the time asking for a date, or the guy at work who never shuts up, asks stupid questions and follows you around all day.

yes you made this happen, its for a reason. they are there to slap your ass awake and say "take a look in the mirror"

once you change yourself these annoying people will go away and more of the people you like will magically appear.

so you have airline problems?
car issues?
bike doesnt work?
got fired?
your wife hates you?

go look in the mirror and fix yourself. nobody else is going to do it and they cant anyway so listen to me and try it out.

i did it and it works, i know others who did it and we are proof.

stop hating everyone because you really hate some part of yourself.

the critical voice in your head is your best friend and your worst enemy. learn to hang up the phone on this jackass and stop being so hard on yourself.

and remember everything you see beauty in is a reflection of yourself, it doesnt matter if its a person, tree, dog, car, bike whatever. ask yourself what you like about that and thats what you like about yourself. if you didnt have these qualities you wouldnt be able to see it in others.

start there and its easy.

5 days ago i posted a hit counter at the bottom of the page, i should have done this in april so i am lame.

in 5 days its up to 500 hits.

thanks for reading

more riding

well since last week when i got sick and was in the big city i have been doing some road riding.
2 or 3 hours a day for the last 4 days. yesterday was a perfect day. i cant remember the last time so many good things happened.

i have changed my sleep schedule around and its been working out pretty good. i used to stay up till 1 or 2am then get up somewhere around 9 or 10. now its 10pm to 6am. some times with a nap. bart would be proud.

yesterday i went to the south valley canyon group ride. we headed over to butterfield canyon and once the climbs starts sleevie says all bets are off. so 15 guys were racing up the hill. sleevie dropped us all and dastrup was giving pace to me at 1/2 way point. i stopped at the steep part and went home. sleevie blew me up, then kept going to the top. its like 20% up there. i wanted to go but decided not to. some other guys came back with me.

i didnt go to moab and im glad. i'll be racin cx saturday and hope it goes good, should be a good time.

ya i have to do some work. im kind of behind but shouldnt take me long to catch up.
i wonder when its goin to snow

570 days in a row

ya thats how many days ago it was that i last had a cold. march 2005. i figured out a fool proof plan on how to catch the common cold.

1. travel in a major airport through 2 time zones
2. dont eat anything but doritos and candy for 2 days
3. dont drink any water, just coke or nothing. i hate airport bathrooms, and on planes too.
4. stay at your friends house with 2 kids sleep on the couch, no privacy and only sleep for 2 or 3 hour intervals at a time, get up at 3am and drive in traffic.
5. stand outside in the cold for 4 or 5 hours with a chill.
6. stress out about not having a bike or that you have 3 days to kill in unfamiliar territory.

mix up any 3 of these or all 6 like i did and wake up with a sore throat and later in the day a stuffy nose.

last night i slept on the couch with 3 other guys, some on the floor, snoring and sawing logs all night. my ear plugs went MIA around 2am and so im laying there with chainsaws 2 feet away from me. im going out to the car, tried sleeping in the front seat for 4 more hours but got cold. then went back up to the couch for an hour before dale and his brothers family left for sunday school.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, party on. im leavin new jersey and i went to ellis island and watched some runners do laps around over by the hudson. they were hatin it and some looked like death. probably just like me.

it was a warm sunny day here in the big apple and i didnt do a damn thing. i got a room at jfk and slept for most the afternoon. now i get to watch tv for the next 12 hrs before i leave at 5am for slc.

i cant wait to get back, i should have left here yesterday and the last 24 hrs seem like a week.
i dont feel like taking a train to the city. jfk is like 2 hrs from p diddy and trumps house anyway.
so they can come see my fat pad on 500 east next time they want to hit the slopes.

i will be up all night im sure so somebody call me.

trexlertown pa

i have barts pika bag, its a double bike carrier. i loaded it full of parts today at the T-town velodrome. when i opened it up it had 2 dead mice and a nest inside.

that was nice,

since he lives up in the mtns they live in his garage and made a home in the pika bag. they were poisoned and probably have been there for a few months.

now im all grossed out and dont want to touch the bag. i have to load it up and put all my stuff in it. thats going to be hell.

on the other hand, this swap is pretty big. i saw horse pills marty hawking free oakleys and a big box of navigators clothing.
from the swaps i go to over the years the pros show up and unload the garb they get for free, its a given and i would do the same thing.
at denver you might see, dunlap, rishi, hampsten or a load of b class pros making the trip. in seattle i saw el gato, jonny sundt and EPO sheppard. madison wisconsin has nobody famous but the trek crew is there with a ton of goods.
san fran brings fast freddy hawking coffee, tom ritchey and a bunch of hoodlum trackie messengers, down in tucson the big shocker is gord fraser. that guys is cheap, wont sell his 11-21 dura ace cogsets with 10,000 miles for under $30.
haggling with these guys is like making copper wire out of pennies.
today marty was like that, but bobby j is cool and easy going. good deals and hey, its for the kids. ya and he gave me dave Z's tour de france number. big deal, ya but hey there is only one and i got it. so im puttin it on egay.

lemond was here also, just riding by with a posse of roadies following him around "training"

bobby j was here unloading used csc bibs and all kinds of crap, "for the kids"

dale scored all his goods before i knew he was here. dammit, like loads of clothing with his name tags on them and the 2004 olympic watch that only the athletes get. for like 15 bucks.

that sucks,
but dale worked it and spent like 10 grand. im not rollin like that and couldnt come up with the green backs.

5 van loads of stuff and hes got about 600 in fedex ground shipping charges to get it back to SLC.

tomorrow im in the city walking and wishing i had a bike, sight seeing or chilling, i got a day to burn and im sure i will find something to pass the time.

i didnt know new jersey had so many trees. i thought this was the city. shows you how much i know about the garden state.

im going to go look for the cash cab. hopefully i wont get run over or hi-jacked by some brothas

DIA denver geriatric convention to NYC

after sitting in the airports and on a lame chair in the plane for 6 hrs.

seems the old people filled the plane and i got to sit next to a couple that was in their seventies. i dont know why they were coming here. i dont talk or ask questions. i just watch and speculate.
watching them take 20 medications at a time and pull out a watermelon sized glad bag full of prescriptions and take the meds.
excellent health care.

then i get to laguardia and get to drive to manhattan in rush hour traffic for a few more hrs. pick up dale at times square and dice it with agro taxi drivers.

what a fun day, wish i had a bike to shred with the messengers. oh well, next time.

staying in jersey for the night and gettin up to drive to T-town at 5am. thats 3am utah time. thats good times. dale from bikewagon is shreddin with me and thats always entertaining. the holland tunnel only had a 30 min grid lock. i guess thats good for 7pm on friday.

Trexlertown bike swap is tomorrow. in case you're wondering. maybe i'll stop by martys house and ask him about the horse pills.
not that i need any but anyone with 40 inch thighs hes not ala natural.

ridin in the rain

i started riding for a bit and i got wet, said F that and went home. im going to be on a plane all day tomorrow and im not bringing my bike. walking around all day sat and sun. that means like 4 days off of riding. we'll see how that goes. no cross practice, no sprints, no race.

maybe ill be fat and slow next weekend.
or i could have some power and crush the weak like a grape.

check out last night. it was ok, i hate smokey bars and paris hilton look a likes hangin with cipo look a likes. pc style all the way, thats the price you pay to be a clubber.

watching gardie feel the beat is pretty funny. its like watching atrain try to moon walk.

i was sittin at the desk and looked across the street and saw this ass clown breaking into the apartment.

looks like the bedroom window of the same unit, maybe his boy friend was in there for a few days and he wouldnt come out.

oh well, i hopin for an action shot of him fallin into the shrubs.
those guys dont like me anyway. i have been shining the laser in their apartment at night and they shut the blinds and yell at me, tell me to get a girl friend.

ya so, im bored lookin at the wall.

snow up millcreek

ya old news. its almost all melted, but i got this shot in the shade up at the top of millcreek. right before you drop into the old park west, canyons, wolf mtn. what ever you want to call it.

weekend whirlwind driving, riding, sleeping

check out the form, julie takes top 3, out of 4 in "A". i think its the gearing or something?!?!

seems like last weekend was 2 months ago. i have been to LA and back, vegas, crest trail, park city a few times.

im going to T-town near philly on friday, it should be a good time, hittin the swap and the big apple with dale. maybe i will go to a show or some thing. last time i was in nyc was in june 03. i drove there on the way to vermont. parked in water town and rode around manhattan for a couple hours. saw ground zero, hudson, times square, central park and lots of people. that was pretty cool, so i will try it again.

today i rode about 2.5 hrs, some of which was up emigration for al butler. i expected more people to come on such a nice day but it was low turn out and i was bummed. nobody should forget about that.

yesterday slowran said he had watts, but was pinned at h/r 175 going up to brighton, while i was doin 105 watts at 100bpm. sorry to brag but he was hurtin and its for all the cross racers friday night who paid him the big bucks to get thrown in the hurt locker. so he got crushed, what ever doesnt kill ya makes you stronger. or i hope so.

last 4 days,.....7.5 hrs, ok but it 1/2 was hard.

matto in the pain cave at 9500'
