the balancing act
after so many years of experience im still trying to figure out the balancing act. you know the part about racing where you always wonder if youre over trained or under trained. trying to figure out how much to ride the week before a race just enough to get you the perfect result for that week. also when to say no, to yourself. wanting to to do more hours or go harder. then i find out in the morning i over did it and i have to lay around all day to get out of the hole in time. well im trying to figure that stuff out this week. i want to hammer. i feel good, but i dont want to be tired. i hate heavy legs and feeling lethargic.
i did 2 hrs today and it was awesome. i hope i can feel like this on saturday and tomorrow. i want to crush the super D tomorrow morning. then after that a group of free riders is doing the crest trail into millcreek.
my bike is blowing up now. last week the rear brake blew up. i had to borrow rosies magura. then today i cut my tire and stans was leaking out every where. then my lefty blew up tonight plus the rear tire went low again so i had to coast with the brakes on, on all the downhills and that really sucks ass.
i have to get up early and drive to sundance but that shouldnt be a problem with bart getting up at 630 goin to work, its a built in upstairs alarm.
