racin 40 miles of rocks at 93 degrees

larry wants to know what vitamins im on, i didnt know. but i have been downing about 4 bottles of vitamin water a day. maybe thats the trick.

ya im blown and in the hurt locker. i cant decide which was harder last week in moab or today. i guess my antics over the last few days caught up with me. i kept the pedals turning but didnt have much pep in the step like the normal foxtrot and finished this hellish day in 3rd. with 40 miles of rocks and twisty 1 track under my tires. i hit a rock with my eggbeater ti and bent it good so my power transfer was off, im running 1.7" rear which is dumb. had a slow leak and had to baby it in on the last lap. oh well, excuses. but its hot as balls.

so this is a stage race and i got 3rd. im dehydrated and tired. last night i drove down to tucson at got to carmens at 12 and they were having this 80's party, i stayed there for a bit and then slept in the van at the bike swap i got up at 5am and these mexicans were already there buying crap. like 10 guys were selling stuff in the dark so i went to tommy o's bike shop and cleaned him out, i dropped 3 grand in 45 mins, it was 7am now so i went to dennys and got some eggs. i told that black waitress to whip me up sum eggs.

last night was the best race, i like the short track if the course is good. i won a thule roof rack in the prime. so im sellin that with my life, bonus feature.

then i pinned the silver bullet at 85mph on I-10 got to ftn hills at 9am ready to race at 1030. it wasnt the perfect set up for domination but what can you do, i like bike swaps and the best one is in tucson today and one in november. gord fraser is always there hawking old cogs and used health net jerseys and today was no different.

so its 6pm in utah and the pros are still out racing in the heat. it cooled down to 87 when i left and kabush/wells were killin it off the front. 36min lap, mine was 38. not bad but lets see their last lap, mine sucked.

bz is doin pix today so i will get some good ones up later. im takin a nap, that was a crazy day.
