black hurricanes

Well, it appears our African-American friends have found yet something else to be pissed about. A black congresswoman (this would be Sheila Jackson Lee, ofHouston ), reportedly complained that the names of hurricanes are all Caucasian sounding names.

She would prefer some names that reflect African-American culture such as Chamiqua, Tanisha, Woeisha, Shaqueal, and Jamal. I am NOT making this up! She would also like the weather reports to be broadcast in 'language' that street people can understand because one of the problems that happened in New Orleans was,
that black people couldn't understand the seriousness of the situation, due to the racially biased language of the 20 weather report.

I guess if the weather person says that the winds are going to blow at 140+ MPH, that's too hard to understand
I can hear it now: A weatherman in New Orleans says...
Wazzup, mutha-fukkas! Heh r-I-cane Chamiqua be headin' fo yo ass like Leroy on a crotch rocket! Bitch be a category fo ! So, turn off dem chitlins, grab yo' chirren, leave yo crib, and head fo de nearest FEMA office fo yo FREE shit!

Henry Rollins had a great take on Hurricane/Natural Disaster names on one of his spoken word albums. Basically he was upset that the (white) names we're giving hurricanes are just too pussy. My favorites were: Motherfucker and The First Four Black Sabbath Albums. I can picture the news casts: "Tropical storm Larry has just turned into a category three hurricane heading for the Keys. Hurricane Motherfucker should hit land by midnight."

I mean really, does 'Hurricane Walter' sound intimidating? Or how about 'Hurricane Fat Albert' like the Texas Democrat suggests?

Fucking politicians. Let's worry about petty bullshit some more and drag the country further down the sewer. Next someone will suggest the White House is too white.

Nerd,
Rollins was not going on about hurricanes, he was talking about el nino (the little boy).

You got the rest right though.
