5 mile pass, race or not?

i cant decide what to do about this weekend. i want to go race but im not sure if im ready. i will think about it for a few days and see. i borrowed ohrans rush demo. that bike hauls ass but it seems squishy on the climbs. i like to lock it out but this does not do that. on a postive note i big ringed it up dry cry creek and felt like the old days. i have not done that since 2003. i dont understand how it happened i just put the power down and felt good doin it. maybe its the carbon wheels. check out these tubular mtn wheels from reynolds. glued on 2" mtn semi slicks. these wheels weigh 1 pound less than crossmax SL's. thats amazing. the whole bike isnt super lite its all stock except these 2000 dollar wheels. i hope i dont roll a tire.

im going to do the drycreek TT on friday and see how close i can come to my old record of 28 mins.

last time i did that was 2003 and i won some races right around that time. hope i dont hit anyone on the way down. im gonna be lightin it up on the dh.

stay tuned, this may be the beginning of comeback that has never been witnessed by a human.

this weeks featured bike is this single speed frame from jeff bates

bianchi came up with this pink P.U.S.S. if you like 1 speeds get this set up. one speeds are not for wusses so if you like gears dont buy this
