not a question of if. but when.

im like the san andreas/cascadia zone fault mega quake. its going to go off. thats undeniable. the question is when.

progress. if i look at my life in the last 2 months i see huge gains. im talking about only fitness and health. go back to january, i was 210 pounds of pure muscle. it took me 1 hr 5 mins to ride home i was pegged the whole way and collapsed upon arrival. now its 40 mins and i could go a few hours more. thats big gains. lets measure weight, feb 13th i started a 23 day cleanse and was 210 pounds. now im 170. thats only 90 days ago. my energy is super improved. i dont need a nap daily, i do tons of things daily and still have energy to ride 3 hrs a day. oh ya i just did 3 hrs today.

im telling you this because being fat sucks and if you have never been over weight and tried to excersize, i want you to try something. i just rode home with a 20 pound back pack and it was hard, try 50 or 60 pounds and you will understand the power of gravity on your lard ass (with a back pack) the bag i had today was only 20 and it felt like it was 40. now my race weight and goal is 145 and that is easily do-able. because i have been there before. thats me not even super ripped like jones or bart, also with the amount of power i have built up riding up this damn hill for 4 months. once the weight (back pack) is gone the raw power and power to weight ratio will leave absalon and hermida envious. i need 3 weeks, thats 155 by june and 145 by mid june.
in june july and august racing will be great, riding is great. warm sunny days are the best. look at barts page. those guys dont have legs or arms anymore. go ride, fast or slow at least we have working body parts.

im dedicating the next 150 days to warm sunny days of riding, road or mtn. trails or racing somewhere far away. after those 150 are over i will dedicate the rest of the year for cyclocross racing which i have not done in about 5 years.

i have been thinking about the races i want to win, so here you go.

win 2 or 3 ICS races in expert by 10 mins., then move back to where i should be. give bart and jones some trouble later in july/august.

deer valley norba, not sure what category yet expert or semi pro are the choices but im not sure if they will upgrade me since i have not raced them since 03'.
sonoma norba
i want to win the 50 mile races at deer valley and brian head, just overall no categories.
i could win a few RMR's with the right luck.
we will see how it goes into august, the only thing im thinking about then is beating stormin normin in the snowbird hillclimb. he can get top 3 overall so i might as well just win the whole race and set the record. i hope dave z, louder or burk doesnt show up.

i want to explain the tape worm theory. this is what i have come up with. parasites that eat what you eat should theoretically make you skinny, and sometimes is does, depending on alot of co factors. as for me it is like the hoard theory. my body was getting deprived, both from riding alot and the parasites. this causes the body to hoard all calories once i ate it, being deprived for long periods of time and then getting some calories and storing it away for later use, causing rapid weight gain. thats my theory, if you have a better one email or call me and tell me.

i have to get back to the lumber yard on the history channel.
