the best thing i heard today

i felt like.... i won the lottery today.

stormin called and said the TTT is off. yes. thank you.

those guys raced 100 miles today and are fried.

ya so am i.

i dont know why, i sat around for 2 weeks. but it feels like august for me.

non stop racing since march 3rd. every week, gone and doing something. its got to catch up some time and i think its now.

hard training since xmas, trips to st george, vegas, arizona. week in and week out. i just thought about it. i think i over did it a few months ago. it took awhile to catch up. now all i do is sleep.

oh well, it was good times.

what i did today i wouldnt call race. it was pretty weak. i didnt have enough energy to ride 1 lap so i packed it in and called it a day.

i think bart felt the same, i have not seem him ride so slow for about 10 years. at least he kept pedaling. thats a hard course to finish when you're not on top of it. not even close to par.

2 weeks of nothin, sleepin and resting. weak performances. it sucks but what can you do, keep on keepin on. its a nice spring day so i watched bobby fix his chain. i wish my chain broke today.

after that they had free burgers at the sherwins, i dont know why their shirts match

the bull elk and pepe,

the bull elk says this tat on his foot is a shark, i think its a dolphin. what u think?

then there was some bike movies with a bunch of messenger who ride 1 speeds and other people who like bikes. lucas bike messenger movies kick ass.

heres one, check it out

i used to work like this in 92' in seattle it was the best job i had. 7 hrs a day of ripping in traffic. from time to time i think about moving back to the big city and being like old times.

dont forget to vote for team shannifer. they need to win, and if you didnt know its down to 5 teams so its not like a crap shoot.

lyna is having a lot of fun for riding up a hill.

That Detroit shirt reminds me ... while out doing the SLC Century yesterday, I came to the realization that anything outside of the SLC 801 and the PC 435 is "Detroit" ... because it's all Mo-town, baby ...

NO TTT? Why not? I was expecting to see another Seven TT bike out there. You missed some fast roads with very little wind.
