1. When and why did you start RideTrash.com?

RideTrash began as my final project for a UCSB web design class I took a couple years ago. I wanted to combine our common thread as cyclists; bikes, beer and boobs, with short, humorous blurbs without being a traditional “this is what I did today” type of blog.It really amazes me how much traction the site has created and how many people read it on a monthly basis. I guess there just isn’t enough foul language and porn on the internet already.



2. Your wife is a total hottie. How did you pull that off?

Before you guys get too exited, you need to know that she’s really a 14-year old, transgender Philippino boy I ordered online. With that said, it could have been the giant tube sock I stuffed in my pants when we met or maybe an eye examination is in order.

3. Who is a bigger douche bag, Tyler Hamilton or Dick Cheney?

Make no mistake, Dick Cheney is the most evil, sadistic mother F%$#@r of our time. But as far as just being a big, stinking “douche bag”? I’d say the guy with the vanishing twin, who swears on dog graves and always looks like someone just whacked him on the side of the head wins that contest hands down.

4. Why do Metal and Bikes go so well together?

Do you really need to ask??? Metal is like a good, strong cup of coffee. It stirs up deep primal aggression and allows you to apply that to the pedals. I just can’t imagine doing sprint intervals to AFI or Kelly Clarkson.
I’ll have to admit though; I do prefer upbeat techno shit while on long climbs.

5. Were you and Atrain separated at birth?

I consider Art “My brother from another mother”. I’ve known him for two years now and it’s still eerie how similar many of our likes and dislikes are, just ask Lorrie or Mistress Julie, not to mention we’re both tall, skinny freaks of nature.
